Hickory – The 18th Annual NC Railroad Expo will be held at the Hickory Metro Convention Center on Saturday, June 13th, from 9am – 4pm. Admission is $5 per adult and free for children 12 and under.
This event supports LOCAL HISTORY at the railroad museum in Newton and it is our largest fundraiser of the year.
There will be approximately 300 tables of vendors, and they all will be appropriately spaced-out from each other. Vendors will have model trains, books, videos and dvd’s, lanterns, locks, signs, t-shirts, photos, tools and lots more! There will also be several large operating model railroad layouts.
We also understand medical concerns. Please only attend if you are comfortable doing so. Be smart and attentive to your personal care and needs. We will be following City of Hickory, Convention Center, and NC State guidelines for attendance.
Please note that masks will be required for entry and gloves recommended, and social distancing measures will be in place, including a one-way line system for attendees with attendees allowed to go through as many times as desired.
All proceeds go to benefit railroad restoration projects by the Alexander Chapter of the NRHS and the Southeastern Narrow Gauge & Shoreline Museum.
The Hickory Metro Convention Center is located at 1960 13th Ave. Dr. SE, Hickory, NC 28602.
