Hickory – The auction is to help Full Circle Arts continue to fund its gallery, educational programs, competitions, and events.
The art and other items for auction will be on display September 19 to 27. The public is invited especially to see what is available at Full Circle Arts during the Downtown Hickory Art Crawl Thursday, September 20.
The following Thursday, September 27, is the Gala Evening Finale, where everyone will be able to enter their final bids for their favorite artwork. Tickets to bid are $5 each, but anyone may come and look for free. Ticket cost will be deducted from purchases of $50 or more. The event also includes a cash “Fifty-Fifty” raffle. Full Circle Arts members provide refreshments.
According to president, Ellen Schwarzbek, “Full Circle Arts is seriously grateful for the generosity of so many people who have made donations to this event. They are helping us provide a well-crafted art experience for the community in and around Hickory”.
FCA is a non-profit artists’ cooperative located in downtown Hickory, 42-B Third Street NW. FCA members are present at the gallery Wednesday through Friday from 11am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
