Hickory – Hickory Sand Company, Inc. will be installing a new water main, as part of the City Walk water and sewer replacement project for
the City of Hickory, beginning Monday, December 17. Construction will necessitate the closure of Main Avenue NW, from 9th Street NW to 5th Street NW, for approximately one month. Detour routes will be established and clearly marked.
