Newton, NC – The Catawba County Library will host three performances of the Green Room Limitless Theatre’s new show that began March 6th with a 15-minute family-friendly act about being different and finding acceptance.
Limitless Theatre for Exceptional Actors is the Green Room Community Theatre’s afterschool Creative Works class. The troupe showcases the talents of teens and adults with special needs, whether those needs are cognitive or physical disabilities. Limitless Theatre’s performances affirm the Green Room’s belief that theater should be available and accessible to everyone.
The action-packed production is called The Circus of Limitless Possibilities. It centers around Ricky and Rocky Ringmaster, two brothers ready to start their own circus. As the “kids who don’t understand” keep turning people away from their groups, Ricky and Rocky see a perfect opportunity to launch their own show about limitless possibilities.
The library performances are designed to keep children focused on what’s happening on stage. They offer a terrific opportunity to introduce youngsters to live theater while being entertaining for people of all ages.
The Circus of Limitless Possibilities will be presented twice more at the following locations:
Wednesday, March 13 at 4:30 – Maiden Branch Library; Wednesday, March 20 at 4:30 – Conover Branch Library.
