Valdese, NC- Tuesday, October 31st- Get ready for an evening full of Halloween fun! The annual Valdese “Treats in the Streets” will be held on Tuesday, October 31st beginning at 4:00pm in the downtown area. Every year for Halloween the local merchants of downtown partner with Town of Valdese to hold this community event. Businesses will be handing out candy from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. Candy goes fast! Be sure to plan ahead and come early for plenty of treats!
A special Halloween performance will be presented on Main Street by the Silver Sneakers Dancers at 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30pm in front of the Town Parking Lot near Burke Onsite Computer Solutions. Keep your eyes peeled for a special guest roaming about event attendees…trick or treaters that catch her eye may find themselves taking home an official Treats in the Streets Costume Contest trophy or medal! There will several costume awards presented this year, so come dressed to impress! The more creative…the better!
