Hickory – The League of Women Voters of Catawba Valley (LWVCV) will host a Meet the Candidates event in Catawba County in Hickory on Tuesday, February 13, from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at CVCC Workforce Solutions Complex, ahead of the March primary elections. The event is free and nonpartisan, and is open to the public.
Meet the Candidates is a casual and easy way to be introduced to candidates. The candidates will be located around a large room and have tables with their materials on them. Attendees can visit with candidates in any order to have the chance to ask questions and hear their answers.
All candidates for local and state offices representing Catawba County who have primary challenges will be invited.
