Newton, NC – The Green Room Community Theatre invites the community to enjoy this year’s Shakespeare in the Park production of “Julius Caesar” at Southside Park in Newton, North Carolina. The performance is free and will take place on Sept. 20, 21, 27, and 28 at 7:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic, a blanket, and enjoy the performance under the stars.
Produced by The Green Room in collaboration with the City of Newton and AgSouth Farm Credit, this outdoor event offers a unique opportunity to experience Shakespeare’s classic tragedy. The play explores the events leading up to the assassination of Julius Caesar and the aftermath that follows.
