Newton, NC – Carolina Caring opens registration for “Brighter Days Camp”, a one-day support camp for youth ages 5-13 who have experienced the death of someone significant in their life.
This unique camp provides counselor-led, safe spaces for children to share and express their grief in healthy ways. Each camper will be placed in age-appropriate groups as they participate in activities designed to help them process their feelings and connect with nature.
“Brighter Days Camp” will occur on Thursday, June 12th from 9:00am-3:00pm at Rising Hope Farms, 3775 Bethany Church Rd, Claremont, NC. The camp is free to attend, but registration is required. Register your camper by Monday, June 2nd by visiting carolinacaring.org/support/.
