Hickory – Join the Catawba Council on Aging during the month of September to get moving and be healthier. All seniors are invited to participate, with a collective goal of 12 million steps! The Step-tember Kickoff event will be held at the Highland Recreation Center (1451 8th St Dr NE, Hickory) on Monday, August 31, 10:30 am – 11:30 am.

RN John Usher from Hopscotch Primary Care will speak about the benefits of walking, and participants will learn more about how Step-tember works and meet the Step-tember sponsors.
