On Tuesday, January 14, 2020 Jeffrey Dula, MSHS, GERO Specialist, QMHP, and Vaya Health will help with communication barriers. Jeffrey is a qualified mental health professional with more than 28 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He holds a Master of Science in Human Services and has varied experience working in hospitals, assisted living facilities and skilled nursing facilities. Jeffrey has provided support to caregivers on issues including behavioral management techniques, grief and loss, psychosocial wellness and connection to healthcare services. He enjoys presenting helpful information on care giving in creative ways that appeal to adult learners.
ACAP (Adult Children of Aging Parents) meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church at 2780 N. Center St., Hickory (beside Publix).
