Hickory – In these turbulent times, you need some basic documents to help you understand how to plan for the future. Adult Children of Aging Parents (ACAP) of Hickory presents “The Five Legal Documents Everyone Needs” on Tuesday, March 12, 5:30-7:00 pm at Fellowship Hall – Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 2780 N. Center Street, Hickory.
Kimberly H. Whitley from Patrick Harper & Dixon will review the five basic documents necessary to provide for decision-making during incapacity as well as passing assets at death. This program will also review how a Will or Trust works with assets so that costly mistakes can be avoided.
Mrs. Whitley will discuss documents needed:
Documents needed for Life and Death Planning
Interaction of Documents and Asset Titling
Mistakes to be avoided both in planning and in financial and health care power of attorney documents
