Hickory – Join Diane Christensen at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library for an Anti-Bullying Seminar at 1pm on Saturday, September 8. Christensen will lead a discussion and demonstration of self-preservation and self-defense techniques.
This seminar is best suited for adults of any age and for parents attending with their children (middle grades and higher).
Classes will be led by Diane Christensen, a Hickory, NC resident and a certified Tai Chi Instructor at the Mountain View Karate Center. Through her own personal experiences and her background in martial arts, Christensen has developed a seminar to help others who may potentially be a target for bullies and crime to boost their own awareness of themselves, develop a skill set, and increase their confidence. Attendees should wear comfortable clothing for movement.
