Lenoir, NC – Caldwell Arts Council invites you to see the works of over 80 artisans and crafters during this year’s Art Around Caldwell Studio Tour on Saturday, July 13, 2019, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Pick up a Studio Tour guide at any site, and plan to visit all six locations!
1 – CALDWELL ARTS COUNCIL will have over 50 artists represented in the Caldwell Visual Artists Competition. Additional artists on-site that day will include Ellen Ball (Hickory metalsmith with enameled and forged metal jewelry and small wall pieces), RLB Hartmann (wide range of materials and a variety of works), Leslie Macon (her love for the natural world shows in her jewelry and paintings), Colette Shomaker (oil, watercolor, alcohol ink, photography, jewelry and fly tying for trout fishing), and Varian Swieter (creator of “Get-a-Grip” stoneware – functional pottery which is fun and a pleasure to use).
