Hickory – This Saturday, August 29, Back the Blue Ride 2020 will be a police escorted convoy that kicks off from Xcel Fitness in Hickory and will parade in support of local law enforcement down highway 321, turning down 321A into Granite Falls, Hudson, then through downtown Lenoir and finishing off at the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Department.
ALL proceeds collected for this event will be divided between the Caldwell County D.A.R.E. program and NC C.O.P.S. Watch for information about these programs leading up to the event.
8 am- Registration & line up at Xcel Fitness (2008 Clement Blvd, Hickory NC 28601) **Monetary Donations Accepted (but not required) TO RIDE
9:30am- Convoy to pull out at 9:30am sharp!
A limited number of T shirts will be on sale the day of the event for $20 cash only.
50/50 raffle tickets will be sold the morning of the event ONLY. $2 per ticket or $10 for 6 tickets. Winner will be announced at the end of the convoy. You do not have to be present to win, but be sure to fill out your name and phone number.
Anyone is welcome to ride and we encourage you to decorate your vehicle as you like! We love to see old glory fly!!
If you choose not to ride, do not hesitate to safely line up along the route to show your support. Hwy 321A in Granite Falls or Hudson or downtown Lenoir would be a safe area to line up and observe the convoy. You may also make personal donations, reach out to us via PM for donation instructions.
