Hickory – Starting this week, till April 30th, Corner Pockets ll will be hosting a food drive for the children at Maiden Elementary School.
No kid should ever go hungry and we are here to help! Unfortunately there are many weekends, when children are not in school, that they go hungry. We want to collect as many food items as possible to help not just through the school year, but for the summer and holidays as well. $100 pays for one child for the entire year!
Corner Pockets ll will be paying it forward to anyone that would like to make a charitable donation toward the Backpack For Kids Fundraiser and will be giving 15% OFF any appetizer. Please read over the list and help us stock the shelves and fill the book bags for these children in need.
The Drop Off Locations are: Corner Pocket ll Restaurant & Sports Bar, Randolph’s Billiards, and Maiden Elementary School.
The Items Requested are: Canned Meats – chicken, tuna or ham, Canned Vegetables, Canned Meals – beef stew, chicken and dumplings, spaghetti, fruit bars and granola bars. Peanut butter, pudding, chef boyardee and pop tarts. Any single serve non-perishable food items will be welcomed. Microwaveable meals are fine as well.
