Hickory – After overwhelming demand and rave reviews, the Hickory Community Theatre is thrilled to announce the return of the smash-hit Broadway musical IN THE HEIGHTS for its third weekend of performances at the Jeffers Theatre. The vibrant production will be on stage this weekend from June 21 to June 23, offering audiences another chance to experience the magic of this Tony Award-winning show.

IN THE HEIGHTS, created by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes, has captivated audiences worldwide with its electrifying music, heartwarming story, and dazzling choreography. Set in the vibrant neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City, the musical celebrates community, culture, and the pursuit of dreams.

HCT Managing Director John Rambo expressed his excitement about the continued run of the production, saying, “The response from the Hickory community has been phenomenal. Audiences have been moved by the energy and passion that our talented cast and crew bring to every performance. We can’t wait to share this experience with even more theatergoers during our third weekend.”

Performances of IN THE HEIGHTS run from June 21-29, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2:30pm and Thursday, June 27 at 7:30pm in the Jeffers Theatre. Tickets are $16 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased online at hickorytheatre.org or by phone at 828-328-2283.

IN THE HEIGHTS is rated PG-13, with mild profanity and adult situations.
