Lenoir, NC – The Caldwell Arts Council is pleased to announce a new art exhibition opening to the public on July 9, 2021. Reflections in Pastel will feature the art of Lenoir artist Roberta C. Kogut and will be on display through August 27, 2021.
Roberta Kogut studied art at Baldwin-Wallace College, but painting took a back seat for years while life led her down various paths. When she and her husband, Bob, moved to the Happy Valley community over twenty years ago, she finally found the time, space, and inspiration to create and paint again. Roberta has always enjoyed painting portraits, landscapes and still-lifes. She finds beauty in the poetry of everyday life, focusing on the effect of light as it shines through, dances around, and reflects off of her subjects.
The Caldwell Arts Council is located at 601 College Ave SW in Lenoir, NC, and is open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.
