Newton, NC – Carolina Caring’s Center for Grief & Healing invites those who feel they could benefit from grief support to register for exciting virtual events occurring this February.
If you love podcasts, you will enjoy Carolina Caring’s podcast-based support group. This year, participants will listen to Anderson Cooper’s “All There Is” podcast and hold open discussions about loss, grief, and how to move forward in day-to-day life. Participants will listen to 1 episode (approx. 45 min) each week to prepare for group discussion. The podcast support group meets virtually on Zoom Thursday, February 6th from 7:00pm-8:00pm and continues every Thursday throughout the month of February. Please register online by Wednesday, January 29th at carolinacaring.org/support. Instructions for participating will be provided.
“Pause Breathe, Relax”, the one-day self-care workshop, provides a safe space to engage in moments of relaxation and comfort. The session is paired with music. After the workshop, participants walk away with tangible tools to help them cope with the stress, anxiety, and sleeplessness which accompanies grief. “Pause, Breathe, Relax” meets virtually on Zoom Thursday, February 20th from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Please register online by Thursday, February 13th at carolinacaring.org/support. Instructions for participating will be provided.
