Carolina Caring Offers Free Grief Workshop, January 18 & 19Newton, NC – The holiday season is over, but it can leave behind a jumble of emotions — especially for those who have recently experienced the death of a loved one. These strong feelings can be harder to manage than friends and family members may realize.

That is why Carolina Caring is offering a Spoon Full of Comfort. In this workshop, we will enjoy a bowl of soup together while watching the video “Tear Soup” and discuss the different ingredients the main character, Grandy, blends into her own grief process. Join us on Thursday, January 18 from 5:30p to 6:30p or on Friday, January 19 from 12:00p to 1:00p at the Newton campus located at 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC. Although the group is free, registration is needed by January 15. Please visit CarolinaCaring.org/support, contact [email protected] or call 828.466.0466, ext. 3201.
