Newton, NC – The NAACP’s advocacy work and Safe Harbor’s recovery programs both create long-term changes that impact families and future generations. The September meeting of the Catawba County Branch NAACP will be on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 4:00pm Mt. Olin AME Zion Church, 2583 Smyre Farm Rd, Newton, NC.

Senior Manager of Community Outreach, Safe Harbor of NC
Ms. Robinson will share the impactful work Safe Harbor is doing in our community. Safe Harbor is a Christ-centered community helping women rebuild, renew, and recover—guided by integrity, compassion, humility, collaboration, and empowerment, with the vision to inspire everyone they encounter to a thriving and purposeful life in Christ.

The NAACP is the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization. The Catawba County Branch meets on the second Sunday of each month.
