Hickory – In conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week (Nov. 18-24), the City of Hickory is proud to announce the 2024 Business. Well Crafted. Award winners: Dustin Davis with DDI of Hickory General Contractors; Caring Cremations; Catawba Valley Engineering & Testing; Habitat for Humanity of Catawba Valley; JK Landscaping & Grading, Inc.; Bumgarner Oil Company; Home Rule LLC; and Samurai Institute LLC.
Presented by the City’s Business Development Committee (BDC), the Business. Well Crafted. Awards annually honor businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs that support and affirm the City of Hickory’s vision for economic vitality.
“The Business Development Committee is proud to honor these eight award winners for their support of the City’s vision for economic vitality as well as their commitment to give back to their community,” said Doug Auer, chair of the BDC.
The 2024 Business. Well Crafted. Award winners will be recognized during the Hickory City Council meeting on Dec. 3 and will be featured in a series of videos shared over the next few months.
