Hickory – As the City of Hickory continues working with Alta Planning + Design to develop its comprehensive Pedestrian + Bicycle Plan, the public is asked to provide valuable feedback on the draft report.
After reviewing existing conditions for biking and walking throughout the city and receiving public input from community members and stakeholder agencies and organizations, the project team has developed recommendations for a network of bicycle and pedestrian facilities (bike lanes, sidewalks, greenways, etc.).
The draft report and its recommendations will help the City make sure the plan meets the expectations and needs of the community.
All community members are encouraged to review the draft report online at https://www.hickorync.gov/hickory-pedestrian-bicycle-plan and provide feedback by September 23.
