Hickory – School will soon be out. Have you made summer camp plans for your child yet? Catawba Valley Community College is now accepting registrations for its Summerscapes experience for children age 5 to 16.
Summerscapes is an enrichment program held on the Catawba Valley Community College campus each summer for children and teenagers. Starting June 17, more than 70 camps are offered in a variety of subjects, including arts and crafts, computers, math, science, career exploration, and reading and writing enrichment. Most are half day morning or afternoon experiences Monday through Thursday. A few in-depth programs that run a full day are also offered.
