Hickory – Join in the fun on June 1 for the first City Walk Summer Celebration. The event will be held from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the parking lot beside the Lowe’s Foods City Park in Downtown Hickory. In partnership with the Hickory Soup Kitchen, City of Hickory, NC – Government, Olde Hickory Brewery and the Hickory Crawdads Baseball Club, the will be Hickory’s newest annual Downtown event!
The evening’s events includes barbeque, music, a bourbon tasting tent with local distilleries, a Beer Garden and fast pitch with the Hickory Crawdads. The event is free to the public, with food and drink available for purchase. Please note, this is a cash only event.
Available for purchase will be Barbeque with all the Fixin’s prepared by Smoke This, Market on Main and Hickory Soup Kitchen, sodas, water and adult beverages. Take out will be available.
Musical entertainment includes Sycamore Bones, Coddle Creek, The Tony Eltora Band, and Scott Moss and the Hundred Dollar Handshakes.
Proceeds will benefit Hickory Soup Kitchen and Hickory Downtown Development.
