Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Fun

Adrian L. Shuford Jr. YMCA in Conover will be having a water egg hunt for ages 3yrs – 13yrs.
Age Groups:
Ages 3-5-yrs. – Child is required to wear a swim bubble/life jacket. Parents are strongly encouraged to swim with child.
Ages 6-7 yrs. – Child is required to wear a swim bubble/life jacket unless he/she has passed the swim test.
Ages 8-10 yrs. – Child is recommended to wear a swim bubble/life jacket if they have no swimming experience or unless he/she has not passed the swim test.
Ages 11-13 yrs.- Child is recommended to wear a swim bubble/life jacket if they have no swimming experience or unless he/ she has not passed the swim test.

Children’s Easter Egg Hunt

The Children’s Easter Egg Hunt, sponsored by the Hickory Elks Lodge, will be held on Saturday, April 13, at Henry Fork River Regional Recreation Park located at 5655 Sweet Bay Lane.
The age groups are as follows:
10:00a.m. – 2 yr olds; 10:15a.m. – 3-4 yr olds; 10:30a.m. – 5-6 yr olds; 8:15p.m. – 7-12 yr olds
Join us for over 25,000 stuffed eggs, entertainment, special prizes, and the Easter Bunny! Rain Date is Sunday, April 14, starting at 1:00 p.m.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Join us for a free, fun-filled egg-hunting extravaganza in the Claremont City Park! The Park’s lot will be closed off for all the activities so make sure you arrange to come early and find parking nearby at the school or other public lots.
Egg-hunting will begin at 11:15AM for the following age groups: 0-2 year-olds, 3-6 year-olds, 7-10 year-olds.
Parents, please remember to bring your child’s Easter basket and be available to help younger ones hunt. There will be different areas for the age groups. All eggs are filled with candy, toys, etc. and some are labeled “Prize Egg”. If a child finds a “Prize Egg” they will bring it up to the parking lot where someone will help them choose their special prizes.
Older children and adults are welcome to come participate in the other activities available! Other activities going on will be bounce houses, face painting, sidewalk chalk art, and bubbles. There will also be an appearance and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
Food will be available for purchase from various vendors. Or, you can always eat lunch at your favorite local places nearby; Claremont Cafe, Marelys, Hardees, Subway, New Panda, Burger King and Boxcar Grille!
Don’t forget to come by the Claremont Fire Department in the morning (7:30AM-10:30AM) to get a delicious pancake breakfast! If you are going to miss out on the Easter Bunny at the egg hunt you can catch him at the Fire Department between 8AM and 10AM instead.

Egg Hunt

Hickory Church of Christ will be hosting an Egg Hunt at 1218 Fairgrove Church Rd. in Hickory. They are located between McDonalds and CVMC, just north of I-40, on Fairgrove Church Rd.
The schedule for Sun. April 14th will be 9:30am – Bible Classes for all ages, Birth – adult; followed by our 10:30am Worship assembly which includes kids’ church, aka Kingdom Kidlets (for ages 2-5) and Kingdom Kids (for ages 6-4th Grade).
After the worship, around 12 noon, we will have snacks or a light lunch followed by a time for kids to dye their own eggs, the featured Egg Hunt event, and lots of fun. The Egg Hunt is designed for kids birth – 6th grade.
We do ask that parents or guardians register the kids by sending names and ages via email to [email protected] or by calling 828-464-4983 and leaving a voicemail with the kids’ information or the adult’s contact number. We’re looking forward to having the Egg Hunt, rain or shine. We’ll come indoors, if there’s rain.
The Newton Parks and Recreation Department’s annual Easter Egg Hunt

This year’s event will be divided into three divisions: 3 years old and younger, ages 4-6, and ages 7-10. Prizes will be awarded in all three age divisions to children who find the crazy eggs, the largest eggs, the smallest eggs, the most unusual eggs, the golden eggs, various prize eggs, and the most eggs.
The Easter Bunny will greet youngsters and give away prizes. The public is invited to attend this special free event.
The event will be at Southside Park located at 1775 Southwest Blvd. behind the National Guard Armory. For more information, call the Newton Recreation Center at 828-695-4317.

Citizens, ages 50 and better, are invited to participate in the Senior Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic on Thursday, April 18, at Westmont Senior Center, located at 1316 Main Avenue NW. The festivities will begin at 12:00 p.m. and will include games, crafts, bingo, face painting, and more!
Plus, Hippity Hoppity, the Easter Bunny will be available for photos. Refreshments will be served. Grandchildren are welcome to join in all the fun. Special thanks to Brookdale Senior Living Solutions for co-sponsoring this annual community event with the Hickory Parks and Recreation Department.

2nd Annual Fercott’s Adult Easter Egg Hunt

Be a kid again and hunt for Easter eggs hidden around the shop! 50% of the hidden eggs will have prize slips inside. ALL eggs will have Easter candy inside (we’re partial to Jelly Belly jelly beans)!
Certain rules apply:
-Only one egg per person per day. We’re making this a 3 day event this year, so you have multiple opportunities. We’re also increasing the odds of winning something in the hidden eggs!
-Kids can help find the eggs, but you must be 21 or older to redeem the egg prize.
-Prizes include brewery & Fercott swag, cheeseboards, and gift cards to Fercott’s.
As eggs are found and redeemed, new eggs will be hidden each day.
