Hickory – Full Circle Arts is inviting artists to enter its spring art competition, called “Color It Warm / Color It Cool”, to be on display at the Full Circle Arts gallery May 9 to June 1, 2019.
The purpose of the exhibition is to give area artists a means to show art in all visual media. What is your color? What is your style?
There will be $600 in awards plus honorable mentions and a people’s choice.
The judge is Elizabeth Furr, retired Executive Director of the Rock School Arts Foundation in Valdese. Elizabeth has promoted Arts in the region for over 15 years and been a member of the Valdese Public Arts Commission. She has participated in the Regional Artist Project Grant program and been an advocate for local and regional artists.
Entries should be hand delivered to Full Circle Arts, 42-B Third St. NW, Hickory, NC (next door to McGuire’s Pub), April 25-27.
There will be an Opening Reception May 9.
