Hickory – Full Circle Arts invites everyone to celebrate the opening of its twelfth annual Tiny Art Show. The reception is Thursday, March 21, 6:00-8:00pm at Full Circle Arts.
Forty-one artists have entered a total of 144 small artworks in a variety of media. They come from as far as Charlotte, Statesville, Newland and everywhere in between.
There is also a Student Tiny Art Show, with art from Grandview Middle, Longview Elementary, Northview Middle, and Hickory Career & Arts Magnet High Schools.
Judge of the competition is well-known artist Hunter Speagle, owner of the ATAC gallery in Hickory. According to Speagle “It’s a challenge to judge a show when there is so much excellent art to choose from”. Winners will be recognized at the Tiny Art reception.
FCA is a non-profit artists’ cooperative located in downtown Hickory, 42-B Third Street NW. Hours currently are Friday, 11:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday, 10:00am to 2:00pm.
