Hickory – Full Circle Arts will hold its Eleventh Annual Fund-Raising Silent Auction Thursday, September 26.
The purpose of the auction is to raise funds for Full Circle Arts, a non-profit cooperative dedicated to the promotion and understanding of art in and around Hickory, with its art gallery, competitions for artists, educational programs, and events.
Full Circle Arts’ members believe in supporting the cultural life of the area, as well as providing a good time and place for people to start looking for holiday gifts.
There will be over 120 wonderful items to bid for, donated by artists and local organizations and businesses. There will be refreshments.
Along with the silent auction, there will be an art raffle for, “Reaching for the Light” by Meredith Janssen, and a 50/50 cash raffle.
Music will be provided by Emily Stober, a talented young singer who has attended summer programs of the Institute of American Musical Theatre in NYC and played Sophie Sheridan in the Hickory Community Theaters’ Mama Mia last May, among other performances.
A preview of the auction items can be seen at Full Circle Arts. The Gala on the 26th will be held 6:00 to 8:00 pm. (Bidding ends at 7:30). Tickets are $15 per person.
