Hickory- Join Patrick Beaver Memorial Library genealogist Peggy Mainess on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 7pm for a workshop on ways technology can be used to assist in genealogical research.
This session will explore the use of on-line resources in finding answers to genealogical questions. Special emphasis will be given to the use of social media in that research.
Other topics to be explored during this session include the use of DNA testing and how to use technology to preserve research.
The Let’s Get Technical workshop will take place in the Carolina Room on the second floor of Patrick Beaver Memorial Library at 7pm. The workshop is free, but space is limited so registration is required.
