Hickory – Get ready for a festive treat as Hickory Community Theatre brings Ken Ludwig’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas to life in the Jeffers Theatre this December. This imaginative, family-friendly adaptation of the beloved holiday classic will have two performances on Saturday, December 14, and Sunday, December 15, both at 2:30 PM.
This heartwarming and hilarious story follows a young girl named Emily, her quirky uncle, and a host of eccentric characters as they race to save Christmas in a way you’ve never seen before! With its fast-paced action, witty dialogue, and touching moments, this production is perfect for audiences of all ages.
The cast for ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas includes a talented group of actors who are ready to bring the holiday spirit to life. This marvelous cast is made up of Elena Hook as Uncle Brierly/Sir Guy, Cynthia Schmidt as Wendell/Mulch, Selena James as Emily, Allie Matthews as Amos/Amos of Kansas, Tyler McGuire as Calliope/Brittania and Jay Barnhardt as Santa Claus. Kelsey Kott, HCT Education Director, as the director of the play.
“This show is filled with so much heart and humor,” said Kott. “I’m thrilled to be working with such a talented cast to bring this fun, festive story to life. It’s the perfect way for families to celebrate together.”
Hickory Community Theatre’s production promises to be a delightful addition to the holiday season, with plenty of laughs, holiday magic, and a few surprises along the way.
