All it takes is one bite from an infected mosquito for your dog to contract heartworm disease. The good news is that this disease is 100% preventable. All it takes is a monthly dose of heartworm prevention for your pet will be protected.
To help you out HSCC is offering some summer time specials during the month of July. Buy 6 months of heartworm prevention, and we’ll throw in the 7th dose for FREE. Preventatives can be purchased at either of our shelters Monday-Saturday 11am-6pm (Please note that our Newton shelter is closed on Monday).
