Hickory – Guest Director Lark Bodnar has just announced the cast of SHE KILLS MONSTERS – YOUNG ADVENTURERS EDITION. This new play by Qui Nguyen will be on stage in the Firemen’s Kitchen at Hickory Community Theatre from May 30 – June 1.
After the loss of her little sister Tilly in a car accident, Agnes attempts to get to know her better through the Dungeons and Dragons notebook she left behind. With equal parts “Mean Girls” and “Stranger Things,” this is a surprisingly poignant and fully play with a lot of heart.
The cast features Autumn Sullivan as Agnes, Grace Devlin as Tilly, Arion Miller as Chuck/Steve, Nate Buff as Miles, Sadie Sapp as Kaliope/Kelly, Sophia Dhuse as Lillith/Lilly, Harley Buff as Vera/The Beholder/Evil Gabi, Kora Hallman as Narrator/Evil Tina/Farrah the Faerie and Elijah Miller as Orcus/Ronnie.
Performances of SHE KILLS MONSTERS – YOUNG ADVENTURERS EDITION will be May 30 through June 1, Thursday and Friday at 7:30pm and Saturdays at 2:30 and 7:30pm. Tickets are $16 for adults and $10 for students. Tickets may be purchased online at hickorytheatre.org or by phone at 828-328-2283.
SHE KILLS MONSTERS – YOUNG ADVENTURERS EDITION is rated PG and recommended by the publishers for ages 11 and up. The show is produced in association with HSM Solutions.
