Hickory – Join us for the opening day for the 2019 Hickory Farmers Market in downtown Hickory, NC this Saturday, April 20. The market is open from 8am – 1pm. Kevin Lee Smith will be performing, starting at 9 am. MOMS Club will also be in the Community Booth with children’s activities. During the downtown renovations, the new “temporary” location for the 2019 season is just a few blocks over from the usual location at 330 Main Ave NW, Hickory, NC.
Fields, folks & fun—that’s the Hickory Farmers Market! Shake your Farmer’s hand, tap your feet to the music, taste our local Chefs’ market creations, and make old friends. We promise the glory of a good harvest, select meats, NC coastal seafood, rice, honey, eggs, cheeses, baked goods, marinades, preserves & pickles, fresh cut flowers, transplants, potted plants, shrubs, fresh & dried herbs, heritage & artisan crafts, street foods and more! You have to come to get the meaning of “more.” It’s a soulful feeling and sense of belonging.
The 2019 season for the Hickory Farmers Market is April 20 – November 30. April -October, the market is open Wednesday’s from 10am–2pm and Saturday’s from 8am-1pm. November seasonal hours are Saturday’s only from 10am-2pm.
In partnership with the Hickory Downtown Development Association, the HFM will close Oct. 12th for Oktoberfest.
