Hickory – The City of Hickory will close its offices on Thursday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day, but garbage and recycling pick-up will continue.
The City of Hickory offices will re-open on Friday, July 5, at 8:30 a.m.

Hickory Public Library
Hickory Public Library, the Patrick Beaver Memorial main facility and the Ridgeview Branch, will be closed on Thursday, July 4. The library will re-open at its regular hours on Friday, July 5.
Recreation and Sports Tourism (formerly Parks and Recreation)
The administrative offices, skate park, and all recreation centers will be closed on Thursday, July 4. Parks are open 365 days a year.
