Hickory – HKY4Vets is all about creating meaningful connections. Our goal is to link military professionals with potential employers, as well as strengthen ties to North Carolina’s Hickory Metro region.
This year, we’ve been excited to introduce HKY4Vets Professional Connections (PC), a community initiative for active and former military members, as well as military spouses, in the Hickory Metro area. HKY4Vets PC aims to deepen connections both professionally and socially for participants. To support HKY4Vets PC, we’re committed to organizing free, inclusive quarterly events focused on growth and building lasting relationships.
As November unfolds, we’re excited to share some key updates and invite you to our upcoming HKY4Vets Professional Connections event, set for November 30th (4:00-6:00PM) at Novel Taproom in Downtown Newton. This gathering is an ideal platform for both active and former military members seeking to expand their professional and social networks.
This month’s event will feature a special guest, Rebecca Mattison, Catawba County Veterans Service Officer. We look forward to Rebecca providing a 15-20 minute overview of updated Federal and State benefits.
