Divorce Southern Style tells the story of Eleanor Bander as she tries to woo her rich ex-husband into a second try, only to discover that she values her fierce sense of independence. Through a series of twists and turns, with quirky but yet believable characters, the play wends and winds its way to a satisfying conclusion.

Cast members are Angie Gragg as Eleanor Bander, Doug McCowan as Walter Bander, Savannah Callahan as their daughter, Elizabeth Bander, Jordan Randall as Vince, Elizabeth’s patient fiancée, Angie Warren as Eleanor’s friend, Elma Blue Williams, Stephen Starnes as Dr. Fred Abernathy, the imposing optometrist, and Tammy Williamson as Gretchen Hiller, Eleanor’s high school rival and current girlfriend to Walter.

Director Keith Smith says he is delighted with the balance among the cast. “We have 3 HUB veterans and 4 first time HUB performers. We also have a balance of experienced actors alongside a few newcomers to theatre. The threads they all weave in common are talent, a great attitude and a strong work ethic to tell the story well. It is an ideal set-up toward quality community theatre.”
