Hymn Festival At Concordia Lutheran Church, This Sun., 9/9

Conover, NC – The Lenoir-Rhyne University A Cappella Choir will join forces with Concordia minister of music Kyle McClure and the Unifour Brass Ensemble to present an evening hymn festival Sunday, September 9, at 6:30pm at Concordia Lutheran Church, 216 Fifth Ave. S.E., Conover. This event is the culmination of Concordia’s 140th anniversary homecoming day and will also serve as a rededication of the church’s 60-year-old sanctuary and newly renovated pipe organ. The program will include congregational hymnody and choral music.

The A Cappella Choir is under the direction of Ryan Luhrs, Ph.D., LR director of choral activities. This event is free and open to the public.
