Hickory – The final four performances of the Hickory Community Theatre’s production of Hair are this weekend, Thursday through Sunday, September 19-22. Tickets are available online at hickorytheatre.org or by calling 828-328-2283.
Join a band of peaceful hippies as they struggle for generational & personal identity, and challenge the power of “the establishment.” The show features hit songs like “Let the Sunshine In,” “Aquarius” and “Good Morning Starshine.”
Thursday night tickets are $16 for all adults and $10 for students and youth 18 & under. Tickets for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and $10 for students and youth 18 & under. This show is rated R. It contains adult content including strong language, drug references and very brief nudity.
The Hickory Community Theatre is a funded affiliate of the United Arts Council of Catawba County and this production is supported by an Arts Council grant through the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, with funding from the State of North Carolina from the National Endowment for the Arts. The 2019-2020 Season is sponsored by A Cleaner World, Paramount Automotive and Sunbelt Xpress.
