Hickory – Domino’s stores across Hickory are teaming up with The Salvation Army to help collect nonperishable food items from now until Dec. 17. Domino’s hopes to help provide much needed meals to families in need during this holiday season.
The Salvation Army asks for the following item donations:
Canned veggies, Canned fruit, Canned meat, Canned or dry beans, Pasta, Nut butters, Rice, and Dry goods.
“We are proud to partner with The Salvation Army on this endeavor,” said Sumner and Taylor Patterson, Hickory Domino’s franchise co-presidents. “At Domino’s, we always welcome ways we can better the communities in which we work and live.”
Drop-off containers can be found in the lobbies of all participating stores. Customers can call their local Domino’s location to verify if they are accepting food item donations.
