LR Students Host Yoga Fundraiser On Monday, November 26

Hickory – Lenoir-Rhyne’s Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) will host a yoga fundraising event on Monday, November 26, from 6pm to 9pm in Shuford Gymnasium.

All ages and levels are welcome to attend this community event aimed at promoting health of the mind, body, and spirit. Proceeds will help fund SOTA’s trip to the National Occupational Therapy Conference hosted by the American Occupational Therapy Association. This conference will allow students in LR’s Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program to learn about new intervention methods, improved technologies within the OT field, and ways to enhance the OT community on campus.

Tickets are available to the public for $10 and include a one hour yoga session between 7pm and 8pm, automatic entry into a raffle, refreshments, and free child care as needed.
