NOW IN THEATERS:

Daddio (***) Dakota Johnson and Sean Penn turn in affecting performances in this two-character chamber drama focusing on the connection between a cab driver and his passenger at the end of the former’s shift. During a traffic jam the two share intimate details about each other’s lives that gradually reveal the background of the two as the cab makes its way through the night.  Kudos must be given to writer-director Christy Hall for keeping the dialogue driven film consistently interesting in spite of its talky nature.
