Hickory – Bring in 2020 with the Roaring Twenties. Making its debut on New Year’s Eve 2019, this Gatsby Party will be one to talk about for years to come. In celebration of the 100-year mark since the start of the Roaring Twenties, every detail has been meticulously thought out to keep with historic themes. From the music and decor to the entertainment and culinary delights, this will be a night to remember.
The party is historically accurate in terms of décor, antiques, and even automobiles from the time period. Upon entering, guests will be transported back to one of the most famous decades in modern history to enjoy all of the culinary delights, spirits, entertainment, themed music, and a visual feast of Gatsby décor.
The event is located at Market on Main (335 Main Ave SW, Hickory, NC 28602). Tickets are $95 each and went on sale Friday, November 1. They are likely to sell quickly. Each ticket includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, beer, wine and champagne until 11:00 p.m., a cash bar, music and dancing, a separate room themed as a “Speak Easy,” live entertainment, antique cars, a donation to charity (Kiki’s Legacy Parrot Rescue), and much more.

About Kiki’s Legacy Parrot Foundation
Kiki’s Legacy Parrot Foundation was founded in 2012 by Teri Rand, following the promise she made to Kiki, a rescue umbrella cockatoo, who shared her life for many wonderful years. KiKi’s Legacy is a 501-c3, non-profit public charity. Kiki’s is run solely by volunteers dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of parrots. Through our parrots, we provide educational demonstrations and public exhibits, behavioral training tools that can improve interpersonal as well as interspecies relationships, and enrichment of the community through our many community-based events. Our knowledgeable and dedicated staff work on many levels to bring critical services to parrots during relinquishment and throughout the adoption process. We know the joy that parrots bring to many people’s lives. Our mission is to improve the lives of parrots in need, as well as the lives of their adopters and the people within our community.
