Hickory – Pink Heals Cruis’in’ For Love Toy and Food Drive will be Saturday, September 23, at Court Street Bar & Grille in Mtn. View, 3-6pm.
Ten minutes and $5-$10 can make a huge difference in your community. Please remember that there are members of our immediate community that are in need. Pink Heals Food and Toy drive on September 23rd will be our source for bringing Christmas to children in need and to the homeless this year. Last year we helped over 50 homeless and three families for Christmas.
Everyone gets hit with requests for donations around Christmas when all are overwhelmed trying to afford things for their own families. Here is your chance to make a donation a few months in advance while you have a little extra change floating around. Pink Heals would like to be able to double the number of people it assists this year! Allyson Sigmon, on Facebook, said, “We don’t care what you are driving or what you ride up on to drop off your item. We want to see the beautiful angel making the donation!”
All toys and food will be distributed by NC Foothills Pink Heals and partnering organizations. Items will be given to children and homeless in Burke, Caldwell, Catawba and Alexander Counties on Christmas Eve.
