Get the facts! The cost of eldercare and assisted living can be costly and can vary as much as 50% across NC. Due to the increased need for supervision of elders with dementia (Alzheimer’s, etc.), the monthly cost can go up by as much as $1,070 per month or more–and that’s in addition to the base cost of eldercare. Within our aging population, for every one American man over the age of 85, there are two American women of that age.
