Hickory – The non-profit organization Rebuild is having a event on Friday, May 4, From 11am to 12:30pm, at the Soup Kitchen in Hickory, NC. Rebuild will be feeding over 300 less fortunate people, as well as clothing them. The event is to bring awareness to our community as well as other communities. Latasha Shuford says, “We want to Rebuild our city with the help of the community and this is a start. Rebuild is not based on just feeding the less fortunate but actually providing jobs, homes etc., as we grow together.” Rebuild has been open for a month and already have sponsors who have donated to make this event a success.

Sponsors include Pepsi, CiCi’s Pizza, Longhorn Steakhouse, Walmart, Olive Garden, Chili’s, Texas Roadhouse, Buffalo Wild Wings, Marriott and AMF.
