Newton, NC – Catawba Regional Hospice’s 16th annual Tennis Classic will be held September 14-17 at Rock Barn Country Club and Spa in Conover. The presenting sponsor is HealthSmart Pharmacy. The tournament is men’s/women’s doubles and mixed doubles events. Registration for the first event is $40; for a second event, the cost is $20. Registration includes tournament play, food, drinks and player awards. The deadline for players to register is September 10 (or August 28 to be guaranteed a t-shirt in the player’s chosen size). Individual and business sponsorships are available, and both are invited to lend their support.
Proceeds from this tournament ensure that medical care, bereavement support and other services are provided to patients and their families who have been cared for by Catawba Regional Hospice, regardless of their financial means.
