Hiddenite, NC – In honor of the Year of the Trail, the Hiddenite Center is thrilled to announce an upcoming painting workshop at the Rocky Face Park picnic area (3451 Rocky Face Church Rd, Hiddenite, NC 28636) on Saturday, August 26th from 10 am – 1 pm. This workshop is recommended for ages 12 to adult. While this workshop has been specially designed for artists at a beginning skill level, painters of all levels are welcome! This workshop will be taught by Lori McGourty of Statesville, NC. Lori will guide painters, step-by-step in completing a pre-sketched 16 x 20 canvas painting, creating a beautiful and colorful rendition of Rocky Face Mountain. Lori is a passionate artist and lifelong learner who has dedicated most of her life to the world of art.
With an unwavering love for creative expression, Lori has honed her artistic skills and knowledge through continuous exploration and practice. Her artistic journey has not only shaped her own life but has also inspired others. Lori has enjoyed teaching both group and private art classes for numerous years and looks forward to this upcoming workshop!
Pre-registration is required for this event. The cost of this event is $40 per participant.
