Former Mayor Rudy Wright was a long-time supporter of Habitat and our mission to empower through shelter. Through The Rudy Project, we honor his legacy by constructing a new home and a community picnic shelter in his memory. Surrounded by his loved ones and his community, we are set to break ground on The Rudy Project, and the public is invited to be there with us to join in the celebration.
The goal of The Rudy Project is to raise $110,000 to cover the cost of building materials and subcontractor labor for the Habitat house and picnic shelter. Gifts to the project will help build a home for a hard-working family and honor the memory of Rudy.
