Valdese, NC- A Summer of great music continues with popular favorite Shake Down! Join us on Temple Field in Valdese Friday, July 25th at 7:00 P.M. for FREE live music, great eats, lawn games, dancing, and more! The 2025 FFN Summer Concerts Series runs every Friday night June 6- August 29 from 7:00 P.M.-10:00 P.M. Each night features different regional band/ musician representing a wide range of musical genres: beach, classic rock, variety, country, and more! All concerts are free to the public and are hosted at Temple Field except the Waldensian Festival Kickoff which takes place downtown on Friday, August 8th. The 2025 Summer Concert Series is generously sponsored by Bimbo Bakeries, Catawba Valley Healthcare, Edward Jones Steve Fisher, UNC Health Blue Ridge, Foothills Broadband and Mr. B’s Fun Foods.
Shake Down is a variety/dance band known for keeping the dance floor grooving all night! When you’re ready to take a break from dancing the night away, enjoy a fun lawn game such as Corn hole or Frisbee! Concessions will be available for purchase courtesy of First United Methodist Church of Valdese! Support their Dry Bottoms Diaper Drive and Hygiene Closet ministries as you enjoy popcorn, chips, candy, ice cream, snow cones, nachos, and more! They will also be sponsoring the 50/50 raffle for those wanting to participate in the fun! Concert attendees are also encouraged to take advantage of the proximity to the downtown district of Valdese. Enjoy takeout from the wide variety of locally owned restaurants and bring a picnic to Temple Field! Or shop the unique boutiques- all a short walk away from the concert!
