Denver, NC – It’s time to get outside, enjoy the sun and play some golf for a good cause! We are proud to announce the Inaugural Shining Hope Farms Charity Golf Tournament at Verdict Ridge Golf and Country Club in Denver, NC on October 5, 2020.

This event will support Shining Hope Farms mission of enabling children and adults to reach their full potential through use of equine assisted activities and therapies. The day will include golf, contests, lunch, a silent auction, and an awards dinner. This is more than just a golf tournament. You will join friends, neighbors, colleagues, and local businesses for a full day of camaraderie all in support of a good cause- providing hundreds of local children and adults with emotional, developmental, educational, medical, or behavioral challenges with the opportunity to obtain unique and effective therapies at little or no cost to them.

Giving back is more important than ever and there’s no better way to give back than while enjoying a round of golf at Verdict Ridge. The Course is located on a historical site and features five sets of tees with yardages playing up to 6,926 yards. Verdict Ridge and the surrounding properties were once part of the Catawba Springs Hotel and Resort and during the 1800’s, Senators, Congressmen and other affluent individuals would visit the area

Whether you assemble your own foursome for $500 or join as an individual for $125, this event truly is a bargain. Entry into the tournament includes a full day of golf, lunch, and dinner.

Registration begins at 9:30 AM with a shotgun start at 11 AM. Golfers will enjoy a full day of games and contests on the green. After the tournament, you will meet up at Guilties Bistro for an awards dinner. Here you will have the opportunity to bid on a sensational array of prizes at the silent auction or try your luck at winning an awesome raffle prize. About Shining Hope Farms

Shining Hope Farms is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to enable children and adults to reach their full potential through the use of equine assisted activities and therapies. Programs provided include physical, occupational, and speech therapy utilizing equine movement as a treatment strategy called Hippotherapy. Shining Hope Farms is the only facility offering this treatment strategy in the counties that they operate in. Therapeutic Riding is also offered to children and adults.
